Dr. Andrade-Cruz graduated from the University of California Davis in 2006 with a Bachelors Degree in Psychology and completed her Chiropractic education from Southern California University of Health Sciences in 2011. She further obtained advanced certifications in Sports Chiropractic and in Chiropractic Biophysics.
In addition to owning and operating Align and Balance Chiropractic, Dr. Andrade also provides chiropractic care to the under-served population of San Pablo and Berkeley. Dr. Andrade-Cruz believes quality Chiropractic care can help accelerate the bodies ability heal naturally, and looks forward to speaking with you regarding your health needs. Her skills and expertise include, but are not limited to: postural analysis, full spine diversified and arthrostim adjusting, active release technique (ART), kinesio taping, and spinal correction exercises. She is also a fluent Spanish speaker.
Maria Lee is a graduate of the Massage Therapy Certificate program at Southern California University of Health Sciences and is a Certified Massage Therapist. She obtained a master’s degree in Urban Planning from University of California, Irvine. She then went on to receive her certification as a Nutritional Therapy Practitioner (NTP) in 2016, where she was trained to perform hands-on functional evaluation to assess imbalances and deficiencies. She offers customized nutritional therapy services which involve assessing a series of reflex points and tests on the body focused on improving digestion, blood sugar balance, immune and cardiovascular health.
Currently, she practices massage therapy in both the spa and clinic setting. She provides Swedish massage, trigger point therapy, pin and stretch, hot stone massage, reflexology, aromatherapy and foot and hand scrub.
Maria Lee aims to guide patients towards healing opportunities through reducing tension and stress and promoting a nutrient dense diet that supports nutritional balance in the body.
